Donator Ranks (we just want opinions, please help)

hello all,

its slash here and we are thinking about adding some donator ranks in the near future as we expand the server and get new people joining, I am making this to get everyone's opinions on them.

-what colors would you like to see?
-what perks would you like?
-and how much do you think you might want to spend if you could?

Replying to this topic doesn't mean you have to donate it is just to get your opinions. Just making that clear.

okay, that might work. What about the perks guys? Cmon xDD what do you want to do?

VIP: Gets 16 Diamonds, 32 Iron and gets 1500 Free Thorads. Donation of 5.00

VIP+: Get 32 Diamonds, 64 Iron, 32 Gold and gets 2500 Free Thorads. Donation of 10.00

VIP++: Get 64 Diamonds, 64 and a half of Iron, 64 Gold and 3500 Thorads plus normal Teleport. Donation of 20.00

umm... yea bean we were thinking more along the lines of allowing creative mode, flying, more permissions, things of that nature.

Would that encourage you to purchase a donator rank more than in-game items?

Well maybe we can do both with a donation, permissions and a couple in game supplies.

$10.00 would be flying and cool colored name and stuff
15.00 would be 10$ things and creative i know its cheap for creative right now so i am not sure guys i will come up with more tho

i think 15 bucks is fine for creative right now, but we need to remember that donator's still have to abide by the rules

yes well obviously. if we catch a donator doing this, we will give then an honest and fair treatment based on the seriousness of the issue.

Yes, I agree with that. And as for the cost and the privileges. I think $10 would be to much for just being able to fly, so we should add something to that. Also with $15 we might consider world edit and creative. Or maybe world edit can be in a $20 plan.

well.. i think that world edit is a super powerful tool and I think that we should reserve that for admin and up.

i mean yea someone who donates 20$ to the server wont greif, but they might be foolish with world edit and maybe lose connection after they make a detrimental mistake, for example. i think that creative should be fine though.

someone who donates $20 might grief. but im pretty sure that world guard and towny are protected from world edit if you dont have the right perms, although im not sure. this is something we might test.

i was also thinking that we could give people a world guard protected building so they dont need a town.

yea we should be obligated to grant them world guards based on the donation amount. 5$ =1 10$ =2 and so on. this would be an addition to other perks, of course..

oh and what are we doing about the vanilla server? I hope you got that under control

why would we feel obligated if we don't specify that we will do it... and im just saving everything right now, for myself and the builders and up. you should hop on and save your town if you want it

I think the donator rank should be 5 bucks but if there is a vip rank it should be 10 bucks

I think that Donator, VIP and then Philanthropist are good titles.
-what colors would you like to see?
Bronze, silver and gold would work well.
-what perks would you like?
I think things like access to private groves with tons of trees, private mines with lots of ore etc.
So make things easier, but not handing out ridiculous stuff like lava and flying and vanish when the server is predominantly survival.
-and how much do you think you might want to spend if you could?
I think increments of £5, £10 and £20 are fair and work well.
